Real Madrid was on the verge of conceding the UEFA Super Cup to Sevilla, but Sergio Ramos's stoppage-time goal and Dani Carvajal's dramatic extra-time winner tilted the scales for Zinedine Zidane's weakened roosam.comde and delivered a 3-2 triumph in Trondheim, Norway, on Tuesday.

Real Madrid was without a host of stars as it aims to enter the season at full strength. Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Pepe and Toni Kroos all sat out, while James Rodriguez, Karim Benzema and Luka Modric were used off the bench.
Sevilla, meanwhile, will have to turn its focus to the Spanish Super Cup, in which it will face Barcelona in a two-legged affair on Aug. 14 and 17 before starting its league campaign.
